MUAY THAI
Originated from Thailand, Muay Thai, also known as Thai Boxing, is a close-combat sport that utilizes the whole body as a weapon. In summary, it is the ‘art of 8 limbs’ and is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins. Visually speaking, the hands serve as the sword and dagger, the shins and forearms are used as armor against blows, the elbow is used to block opponents, and the legs and knees serve as the ax. The body operates as one unit and works simultaneously in a harmonic way to perform the Muay Thai sport.
